Spirit of Tex Female Student-Athlete of the Month - Dylan
Dylan attends Desert Shadows Middle School where she is going into 8th grade. Off the field, she volunteers at St. Mary's Food Bank and Feed My Starving Children and plays the guitar. On the field, Dylan leads by example. She is the definition of a team player and always maintained a positive attitude. She also can play multiple positions and adapted with ease.

Spirit of Tex Male Student-Athlete of the Month - Jacob
Jacob attends Sahuaro High School (Tucson) where he is going into his senior year. He holds a 4.26 GPA and is a member of the Student Council, Sahuaro Link Crew - senior-freshman mentorship program, Latinos Unidos, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is a USSF Arizona State Referee Committee certified referee. On the field, Jacob is a relentless player and never gives up. He was his team's captain this past season, works harder than anyone else, and leads by example. This past year he suffered an injury and still showed up to matches to cheer on his teammates.

Spirit of Tex Coach of the Month - Josh Jones
Coach Josh always carries himself and what he expects of his team with the utmost sportsmanship. He expects his players to be respectful on and off the field, towards teammates, opponents, coaches and refs. He speaks up to players if they are not displaying this and teaches them if need be. He always keeps lines of communication open with parents and players. He never loses composure and always sets the example.

Spirit of Tex Volunteer of the Month - Yvonne Mandrefo
Yvonne  is the Kathy Belles of our EA South 2009s.   She is the foundation of our success. Doing everything from organizing team building activities for our players on away trips to making sure the team has enough water as they walk the field at EA Nationals in St. Louis. Yvonne works hard to make sure all details are addressed, players are rostered correctly, schedules are correct, financials are up to date, and families are clear on all communications necessary for a successful season. She goes above and beyond and does it with a smile.

Spirit of Tex Referee of the Month - Garrison
I am 15 years old and going to be a sophomore at Mountain Ridge High School. I have been playing club soccer for 7 years. I started referring 3 years ago to earn money to buy a car someday.
